Fleetwood plastic waste fire 'was deliberate'
A major fire at a warehouse containing 3,000 tonnes of plastic is believed to have been started deliberately, Lancashire Fire and Rescue has said.
About 50 firefighters were in involved in tackling the blaze at Jameson Road in Fleetwood on Saturday evening.
Local roads were closed and residents at a nearby caravan park were told to stay indoors. No-one was hurt.
John Taylor of Lancashire Fire and Rescue said because of the remote location and "a process of elimination" the fire was being treated as arson.
