Nicola Adams Leeds's Olympic boxing history maker

History was made when the first Olympic gold medal in women's boxing was awarded to a West Yorkshire fighter.

Nicola Adams, from Leeds, is 29 and has been boxing since she was a teenager.

The now-demolished gym where she took her first steps in the sport is a long way from the flyweight Olympic final.
