Leicestershire pet blood bank needs more donors
Pet owners are being urged to take their animals to a blood donation clinic in Leicestershire as supplies are running low.
The Leicestershire-based charity Pet Blood Bank is running an emergency donor session in Loughborough.
"Vets are making good use of the blood products and saving a lot more lives of critically ill pets so it is making a big impact and it is a very important thing to do," a blood bank spokesman said.
