Older jobseekers in East Midlands face tough challenges

The number of people over the age of 50 who are on jobseeker's benefits in the East Midlands has increased by 11% in the past year.

The chance of them finding a job is estimated at about 10%.

The Prince's Initiative For Mature Enterprise has a special programme to help the over-50s, who often consider setting up their own business.
