University of Leicester reveals music heard by Richard III
The University of Leicester has released a recording of music from the last Plantagenet king's lifetime, including tunes probably played at a raucous Christmas party.
A specialist music trio recorded a concert of music from King Richard III's lifetime for the university.
The performance included music from the last Plantagenet king's time growing up in England as well as from Burgundy and the Hague.
It ends with a dance, played by the TritonE recorder trio, which may have been heard at a raucous Christmas party attended by Richard III.
