Ex-Leicester Tigers player Matt Hampson opens special school

A special school for children with disabilities has been opened by former Leicester Tigers player Matt Hampson.

He was badly injured while training nine years ago and is paralysed from the neck down.

Head teacher Dave Thomas said the £10m Loughborough school had the latest equipment including a pool to help the children to develop their limbs.
