Richard III in Leicester: Guildhall

The Guildhall was built in 1390 as a meeting place for influential businessmen of the city.

Over the centuries it has served as the city hall and it is one of the few remaining buildings which Richard would have seen during his visit to the area.

This page forms part of an interactive map published for Richard III's reinterment, showing locations in Leicester associated with the king.
