Richard III in Leicester: Bow Bridge

Bow Bridge, across which Richard's body was brought back into the city, became the focus for legends about his burial or dumping of his bones.

While the original stone bridge was replaced in 1861, the new iron structure was decorated with white roses, Richard's badge as a member of the house of York.
