Richard III in Leicester: Cathedral

While a church dedicated to St Martin has stood on this site for centuries, the current building only became a cathedral in 1926.

Richard's skeleton was found only yards away but the cathedral was only confirmed as the location for his tomb after a legal battle.

This page forms part of an interactive map published for Richard III's reinterment, showing locations in Leicester associated with the king.
