Could reopening railways help clear congested roads?
Opening up underused railway lines could help to reduce traffic on the road network, campaigners in Leicestershire say.
They want some of the services that were closed in the 1960s to be reopened, and have won the backing of some local politicians in their bid to revive a line running between Leicester and Burton-upon-Trent.
