Burghley Horse Trials benefits from 'Olympic effect'

Organisers of the Burghley Horse Trials say the London Olympics has led to more interest in this year's event.

Captain Mark Phillips, father of the Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips, has designed the tallest fence on the event's cross country course.

He said his daughter's silver Olympic medal win was fantastic, but said she would be "tinged with a little bit of sadness" to get so close to a gold medal.

Those competing at Burghley will include silver Olympic medallist William Fox-Pitt.
