Cancer-nursing cat named Cat of the Year
A rescue cat that helped an 11-year-old girl face cancer treatment is named National Cat of the Year.
Evie Henderson, from Lincoln, was diagnosed with bone cancer in March 2016 and said Genie helped her cope through six rounds of chemotherapy, several painful operations and long spells in hospital.
Genie was honoured by feline charity Cats Protection at a ceremony in London.
