Police appeal for help tracing man attacked in riots at Clapham Junction

A CCTV clip released by police shows a member of the public outside the Carphone Warehouse shop in Clapham Junction being attacked by looters during rioting in London

The man tried to stop a large group from smashing the shop window further but they attacked him with a fire extinguisher spraying it directly in his face on 8 August.

Police have released the CCTV video in the hope of tracing both the victim and those who attacked him.

Crimewatch: Riots Caught On Camera is on BBC One at 2000 BST on Thursday.
