Mark Duggan 'not mad enough to draw gun'

The man whose shooting sparked the London riots was "not bad enough or mad enough" to draw a gun on police officers, a friend has said.

Mark Duggan died after being confronted by police in Tottenham in August, and four nights of violence around England began after a vigil for him.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is still investigating the precise events surrounding Mr Duggan's killing.

Stafford Scott, who knew the victim and was among the activists who took part in the original march, has told BBC London 94.9 about the distress caused by "misinformation" over the shooting.
