London homeless B&B families rise

The number of homeless families being placed in temporary bed and breakfast accommodation by councils in London rises by more than 40% in a year.

The number of homeless families being placed in temporary bed and breakfast accommodation by councils in London has risen by more than 40% in the past year.

Figures from the National Housing Federation show about 2,000 families are housed this way in the capital.
