Rise in London homeless families living in B&Bs

The number of homeless families being placed in temporary bed and breakfast accommodation by councils in London has risen by more than 40% in the past year.

Figures from the National Housing Federation show about 2,000 families are housed this way in the capital.

BBC London political correspondent Karl Mercer spoke to Lizzie Clifford from the National Housing Federation and Conservative Westminster Councillor Jonathan Glanz.
