Skeletons found in Elephant and Castle construction

Construction on a £20m leisure centre in south-east London has been stopped after more than 500 skeletons dating back to medieval times were unearthed.

Archaeologists had expected to find the remains of a burial site in Elephant and Castle but, as BBC London's Nick Beake reports, the sheer magnitude of the discovery took them by surprise.
