Policing 'not affected' by Met Police budget cuts

The deputy mayor for policing said it is possible to make millions of pounds worth of savings while making the Metropolitan Police more efficient and without crime going up.

Stephen Greenhalgh said the Met has too many buildings and wastes money on IT.

He also stressed there were no plans to cut Commander posts from some London boroughs.
