Homeless families put up in 'four star hotels'
Homeless families in Westminster are being put up in three and four star hotels - costing thousands of pounds - because the council says it has nowhere else to house them.
Many were made homeless after housing benefit caps were brought in last year but BBC London has learned the taxpayer is now facing much bigger bills to house them.
Some bills come to £12,000 per family per month.
Political Correspondent Karl Mercer talks to Ali Sharif Osman, who is living in a hotel with his family, Labour MP Karen Buck and Conservative councillor Jonathan Glanz.
