Met Police 'tried to destroy' officer
A former Metropolitan Police officer, who complained of racism and homophobia in the ranks, has said the force tried to "destroy" him for speaking out.
An employment tribunal found that Kevin Maxwell suffered degrading and humiliating treatment.
The Metropolitan Police said since Mr Maxwell's case changes have taken place on how to report wrongdoing and managing employees on sick leave.
Mr Maxwell spoke with BBC London's Home Affairs Correspondent, Guy Smith.
