Plan to cut road deaths and serious injuries in London by 40%
A seven-year plan to improve London's road safety record has been unveiled.
Transport for London (TfL) wants to cut deaths and serious injuries on the capital's roads by 40% by 2020.
It has proposed improvements including more 20mph zones and road safety lessons for every schoolchild in London.
BBC London's Sarah Morris spoke to Garrett Emmerson from TfL, Isabel Dedring, the deputy mayor for transport and Cynthia Barlow from RoadPeace, a charity for road crash victims.
