Met Police target sexual exploitation

The Met Police has launched a campaign to target people who exploit and abuse children.

Officers have drawn up a protocol, which has been agreed by all 32 London boroughs, to help identify children at risk of abuse and sexual exploitation.

The force said it had launched 50 investigations after working with local authorities.

BBC London's Sarah Harris spoke to Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley and Cheryl Coppell from the London Safeguarding Children Board.
