Pupils encouraged to consider Tech City careers

A campaign has been launched to encourage pupils from east London to consider careers in technology at Tech City.

Since 2011, the Old Street area of London has been regarded as the home of the Tech City initiative, a government scheme to help nurture home-grown technology companies.

BBC London's Alice Bhandhukravi spoke to Mark Keary, the principal at the Bethnal Green Academy, Jess Tyrrell, from the Centre for London, and Oliver Rees, from digital training company Decoded.
