All London buses become cash-free

London's buses are no longer accepting cash in a move that Transport for London (TfL) hopes will save £24m a year.

TfL said the change was prompted because dwindling numbers of passengers were using cash to pay for their journeys. But Liberal Democrats and Green members of the London Assembly have concerns about the move.

BBC London reporter Helen Drew spoke to Mike Weston from TfL and Caroline Pidgeon, the Lib Dem London Assembly Member.
