Flagship Hackney tech college to close after two years
The first of the government's flagship University Technical Colleges in London is to close down.
Hackney University Technical College said it would have to close due to a lack of applicants two years after it opened.
It was one of five colleges to open in London in 2012 with the aim of offering pupils technical skills from the age of 14.
