Central Line Tube passengers hit by Aslef strike
Commuters and visitors in London were hit by significant disruption on Friday when members of the Aslef union took part in strike action on some Tube lines.
Union members on the Central Line walked out at 00:01 BST for 24 hours, leading to the suspension of some parts of the line and severe delays. There was also no service on the Waterloo and City Line.
Aslef accused Transport for London (TfL) of a "failure to treat drivers with the respect and dignity they deserve". TfL said the industrial action was "unnecessary".
BBC London's Tarah Welsh spoke to commuters and Finn Brennan, the district organiser from Aslef.
