Action to prevent human trafficking in London
Ways of helping victims of human trafficking and slavery in London have been discussed at a conference as part of Anti-Slavery Day.
In the last four years, the human trafficking unit at the Met have arrested 422 people and helped more than 700 victims.
Det Ch Insp Phil Brewer, from the unit, explains how the force is raising awareness of the crime while Fiona Mactaggart, the Labour MP for Slough, said people need to look out for people who may be being exploited.
Michelle Berry, of the SWISH project that helps sex workers, says trafficking is a real problem in London.
