Brain tumour research funding boost
Scientists at a university in east London have been given a funding boost to help with their research into brain tumours.
The team at Queen Mary University London have been given £1m a year for the next five years to try and find a cure for the most aggressive form of the disease.
Professor Silva Marino said the funding would help to advance knowledge of the cancer and will help to attract the best researchers.
BBC London's Karl Mercer also speaks to Emily Jones, who has had brain tumours, and Hugh Adams from Brain Tumour Research, who explains why the centre is so important.
