Alice Gross: Arnis Zalkalns 'would have been charged'

Charges would have been brought against Alice Gross murder suspect Arnis Zalkalns if he had lived, police have said.

The body of Alice, 14, was found in the River Brent in west London on 30 September, after she went missing a month earlier.

The body of Zalkalns, a builder from Latvia, was found less than two miles away in Boston Manor Park, on 4 October.
