London's reaction to Right To Buy pledge

The Conservatives pledge to extend the right to buy to housing association tenants could mean thousands more people getting up to £100,000 in subsidies to become home owners.

To some it's a chance to own their own home in the most expensive neighbourhoods in the country, but one of London's largest social housing landlords, the Peabody Trust, believes the manifesto promise would severely reduce the number of affordable homes and may see people priced out of the capital.

BBC London's political editor, Tim Donovan, spoke to Carole Wright from the Blackfriars Estate Resident's Associaton and David Lavarack from the Peabody Trust.
