Men suffer 'extensive injuries' in Newham hit and run
Footage has been released of the moment two men suffered "extensive injuries" when they were hit by a car which then drove away in east London.
The pair, aged 50 and 52, were crossing Upton Lane in Newham at about 22:30 BST on 27 March when they were struck by what police believe was a BMW.
The 52-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest while the 50-year-old was treated for broken bones and still does not have the full use of his right arm.
They were released from hospital the following day but Det Con Stephen Field said the men "suffered extensive injuries which they are still recovering from".
