London 2011 riots: Convicted looter wants to become street pastor

A man convicted of stealing during the 2011 London riots has said he is thinking of becoming a street pastor.

Scott Bates, 23, from Clapham was convicted of stealing and spent six months in jail.

He said though he felt the punishment was "a bit harsh", he had "learnt a lot" and was now working with young people to help them find work after coming out of prison.
