A London family put pollution to the test using a new device

London is one of the most polluted cities in the world, breaching EU limits for 2017 within the first five days of the year.

The capital's toxic air is a big concern for some parents, who are worried about the health implications for their children.

Inside Out teamed up with the Macnamara family from Greenwich in south-east London to test how much pollution they're exposed to on an average day, using a new device developed by Plume Labs in Paris in conjunction with Imperial College London.

You can watch the whole show this Monday on BBC One at 19:30 GMT or catch up on the iPlayer.
