Olympic cyclist Jason Kenny tries car racing
Double Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist Jason Kenny has swapped his bicycle for a race car to try his hand at motorsport.
The Bolton athlete, who took gold in both the team and individual sprints in August, bought a race car in April, but could not try racing before the London games due to his training schedule.
He took part in his first race for sport car manufacturer Ginetta at Donington Park Racing Circuit in Leicestershire on Saturday, with his father and brother acting as his crew.
He said he "really enjoyed it - I thought it was something that I wanted to get involved with and this has confirmed it".
