Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Greater Manchester return

Hundreds of people lined the streets of Greater Manchester for two homecoming parades welcoming soldiers from The First Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers back from Afghanistan.

The First Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers were stationed in Nahr-e Saraj district in Helmand Province in their six-month tour of duty.

The family of Fusilier Lee Rigby of the Second Battalion, who was killed near his army barracks in Woolwich, south-east London, in May, also attended.
