Halton McCollin murder: £50k reward offered over 2008 takeaway shooting

A fresh appeal has begun to catch the killer of a man who was shot at a Greater Manchester takeaway more than eight years ago.

Halton McCollin, 20, died on 22 January 2008, three days after he was attacked at China Garden in Stretford.

A renewed appeal has featured on BBC One's Crimewatch Roadshow involving his friends, father and Greater Manchester Police.

Detectives believe he was the innocent victim of mistaken identity.

A reward of £50,000 is being offered for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the gunman.
