Warrington primary school adds scooter skills to the curriculum

A primary school has added a new lesson to the curriculum - scooter skills.

St Augustine's Catholic Primary School in Warrington is teaching pupils how to stay safe because more children arrive for lessons on two wheels.

Warrington Council said it hoped the scheme would encourage parents to leave their cars at home and reduce traffic problems outside schools.

It is planning to roll out the lessons to other schools in the area.
