Police apologise over Manchester wrong-house raid

A police force has apologised after armed officers raided the wrong house in an operation following three shootings in Manchester.

In footage captured by the Manchester Evening News, officers used battering rams to break in to the house.

Ch Insp Mark Dexter, of Greater Manchester Police, said officers were following up intelligence about two houses in the Clayton area of the city.

"We will ensure any damage to the property is repaired," he said.
