'Out of control' hunt dogs accused of killing fox in garden

A hunt which saw foxhounds fill a suburban street and allegedly kill a fox was "terrifying", a resident has said.

Residents reported "horrific" scenes when the dogs came into Penningtons Lane, Macclesfield, on Saturday.

Police are investigating a claim foxhounds were chasing a fox that was later found dead in a back garden.

A spokesman for Cheshire Forest Hunt said they "apologised" for what had happened.
