Off-road motorcycle Christmas plea after girl, 15, mown down
A father whose 15-year-old daughter was seriously injured by an off-road motorcycle has begged parents not to buy them as gifts for their children.
Jessica Chisnall was hit as the bike mounted the pavement when she walked home from school in St Helens, Merseyside, on 13 January.
He father Carl said: "They are not children's toys, they are not road legal and can only be ridden on private land with the land owner's permission.
"You're wasting your money, but most of all you are putting your children and others at risk."
