Two bodies found in Broads search for missing parents

Two bodies have been recovered from a river after a 13-year-old girl was found alone on a Norfolk Broads hire boat.

Police and divers began searching the River Bure after the boat, with the unharmed girl on board, was found tied to a tree on Salhouse Broad.

The bodies of a man and a woman, both thought to be in their 40s and believed to be from the Surrey area, were discovered in water on Sunday afternoon by divers between Salhouse Broad and Wroxham Broad.

Officers are treating the deaths as unexplained.
