South Pole Allied Challenge: Double amputee Duncan Slater in training

In November and December teams of wounded servicemen and women from the UK, USA and Canada will attempt to walk to the South Pole.

Representing the UK for the 200 mile (330km) will be four British soldiers, as well as charity patron Prince Harry.

One of those soldiers is double lower leg amputee Duncan Slater, from Diss in Norfolk.

Mike Liggins went to the Walking with the South Pole Allied Challenge 2013 training morning in north Norfolk to see how he was getting on.
