Breathalysers used in Norwich clubs to curb binge drinking

Over the next few weeks, 30 night club venues in Norwich will be asking people to take a breath test in a bid to cut down on binge drinking.

The breathalysers were first trialled in September but only for one night.

They will now be used by staff at the clubs, with those taking part bearing the signs "Are you trollied? #DeepBreath".

Both Norfolk Police and club owners hope the kits will help keep alcohol-rated incidents to a minimum.

Dawn Gerber reports.
