Northampton Town: East Stand reopens at Sixfields

A football stand at the centre of a financial row has reopened for the first time in two years.

Work on Northampton Town's East Stand resumed in February, three months after Kelvin Thomas completed his takeover of the club.

Police are investigating alleged irregularities associated with the development before he took charge.

The stand has already sold out for the remaining home games, and almost 2,000 Cobblers fans sat there to watch the match against Notts County.
