Police 'should have given killed Leighann Wightman alarm'
A Nottingham woman whose daughter was murdered believes she might have been saved by a personal alarm.
Leighann Wightman asked Nottinghamshire Police for the device shortly before her former partner was released from jail, her family has said.
Her mother Judy has lodged a complaint against the police.
The force has not directly commented on Mrs Wightman's claims because the case is subject to a "domestic homicide review".
BBC's Quentin Rayner reports.
