The Ashes help Broad Appeal at Trent Bridge
Former England cricketer Chris Broad has told BBC East Midlands Today how The Ashes has helped his charity appeal set up in memory of his late wife.
The ex-Nottinghamshire opener set up the Broad Appeal in 2010 along with his son England bowler Stuart and daughter Gemma, a performance analyst for the England cricket team.
Chris Broad's wife, who suffered from motor neurone disease, died in 2010.
Events were held in aid of the fund on day three of The Ashes series at Trent Bridge on Friday.
