East Midlands MPs want regional rail improvements

East Midlands MPs have been lobbying for more cash to improve the region's main east-to-west rail links.

They say the Nottingham-to-Lincoln line is a top priority.

But the government has rejected their calls because "a clear business case" has not been presented, according to the transport minister.
