Nottingham cancer patient's eviction blocked by crowds
Bailiffs planning to evict a man from his home have been blocked by hundreds of people who gathered outside.
Tom Crawford, who has been treated for cancer, is in dispute with his bank over mortgage payments which he says he has paid but the bank maintains he owes them more than £40,000.
He said the protest outside his bungalow in Carlton, Nottingham, had given him "a new lease of life".
Last summer, after an online plea for help, crowds gathered to support the 63-year-old.
UK Asset Resolution Ltd said it will now go back to the courts to determine what to do next.
