Missing mother Samantha Baldwin urged to make contact

Police have issued a fresh appeal for a mother who has been missing with her two sons for more than a week to get in touch.

Samantha Baldwin, 40, from Newark, vanished with Louis Madge, 9, and Dylan Madge, 6, on 27 March.

The family court, which had ordered the boys should be removed from her care on the day they disappeared, said Ms Baldwin was "considered to pose a risk of harm" to the boys and police are treating the case as an abduction.

Speaking outside Nottinghamshire Police's headquarters, Ch Supt Helen Chamberlain directly addressed the mother, saying: "I cannot imagine what you are going through and what you are thinking at this time."
