Your Questions: A short history of West Bridgford's air raid shelter
Not many houses have an air raid shelter as a neighbour, but for residents on Abbey Circus one of the life-saving structures still stands, more than 70 years after the end of World War Two.
You used Your Questions to ask us about its history.
Sadly few of the people who used it during their hour of need are still around, and the shelter is currently blocked off.
Rushcliffe Borough Council, which owns the site, said it does not have any plans to sell or demolish the building.
We asked people in the area what they would like to see done with the unusual building.
